New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls wrestling team split two close dual matches Wednesday night at home. The Dragons beat Lebanon 47-30, and fell 42-30 to Beech Grove. Callee Rains (130), June Wagner-Gilbert (135) and Bellamy Reardon 140) all went 2-0 on the day. Elizabeth Champ and Erica Whetsel were each 1-0 at 155. Kalissa Jacobs (120), Calie Means (125), Carmie Kelle (145), Reagan Fortier (170) and Miranda LaRoche (190) all went 1-1. The Dragons are next in action Saturday at the Purdue Poly Invitational.
