New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys wrestling team went 2-1 at Saturday's Roncalli Duals, including a win over No. 9 Roncalli and a close one-point loss. The Dragons started the day with a heartbreaking 33-32 loss to Noblesville. They responded with a 38-35 victory over Roncalli, the state's ninth-ranked team. A 69-5 victory over the Brownsburg JV finished the day. Going 3-0 on the day were Zion Tavorn, Gunner Butt, Isaiah Jones, Colin Whetsel and William Glesing. Landon Stranger went 2-0. The Dragons are now 7-2 on the season. They next compete Wednesday at home against Mt. Vernon.
