New Palestine High School

The New Palestine gymnastics team put up another strong score Saturday, tallying 106.625 points to finish second in the 15-team Franklin Central Invitational. The Dragons were runners-up to Angola (111.575). NP finished ahead of Noblesville (101.35), Roncalli (100.125) and the rest of the field. Lexi Hall was third in the all-around with a score of 36.875. Lynzie Stiller was seventh (34.875) and Olivia Frank 10th (34.425). On vault, Hall was fourth (9.325), Frank seventh (8.8925) and Stiller eighth (8.85). Hall was second on bars (9.15), with Stiller fourth (9.025) and Olivia Clark sixth (8.7). On balance beam, Hall was second (9.225) and was the Dragons' lone top-10 finisher. Stiller was fourth on floor exercise (9.35), with Hall sixth (9.175) and Frank eighth (9.075). The Dragons are back in action Thursday at home against Columbus North.
