New Palestine High School

The New Palestine gymnastics team posted a strong score Tuesday in its final home meet, beating Shelbyville 106.15-78.075 at The Gymnastics Company. The Dragons won all four events. On balance beam, NP took the top five spots. Lynzie Stiller won (8.725), followed by Eden Coleman (8.625), Lexi Hall (8.4), Kalle Jones (7.95) and Olivia Frank (7.9). The Dragons swept the top four spots in uneven bars. Hall won with an 8.8, followed by Frank (8.65), Stiller (8.5) and Coleman (8.125). On vault, the Dragons again swept the top spots. Hall won with 9.15. Frank and Stiller tied for second (8.7). Jones was third (8.625), Coleman fifth (8.325) and Sofia Delgado sixth (8.225). The Dragons swept the podium in floor exercise. Stiller won (9.35), followed by Hall (9.3), Frank (9.25), Jones (9.2), Finleigh White (8.45) and Tinley Day (8.0). Hall won the all-around (35.65), with Stiller second (35.275), Frank third (34.5) and Coleman fifth (25.075). It was the final home meet for Stiller, Frank and Jones. The Dragons next compete Saturday in the sectional at Connersville High School.
