The New Palestine girls tennis team improved to 8-4 on the season with a solid 4-1 victory at Waldron. The Dragons swept the singles, dropping only three games. Arabella Deisher won 6-0, 6-1, while Riley Watts won 6-0, 6-0 and Macy Thomas posted a 6-0, 6-2 victory. Addison Ballard/Alyssa Beller won 6-2, 6-4. Alyssa Appleby/Elliott Graham suffered the lone loss, falling 6-1, 6-1 ta No. 1 doubles. The Dragons JV also won 5-0. The Dragons are next in action Wednesday at Greenwood.
