The New Palestine girls soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision Wednesday at home to Mt. Vernon. The Dragons conceded a goal in the fifth minute and another later in the first half. MV added three more goals in the second half despite playing with 10 players due to a red card. The Dragons fell to 6-2 on the season and 2-1 in Hoosier Heritage Conference play. They next play Thursday at Greenwood.
