New Palestine High School

The New Palestine volleyball team battled against the state's fourth-ranked team, but fell 25-17, 25-13, 25-21 at home to Yorktown. Adelynn Crispin and Caylee Brown each had seven kills - and Brown tallied an impressive .467 hitting percentage against one of the state's top teams. Crispin added nine digs and an ace. Cara Steele, Elena Cook and Ella Moeller had five kills each. Kennedy Armstrong tallied 12 assists and six digs for the Dragons. Haven Flagle had four digs. The Dragons are now 24-3 on the season. They next play Thursday at home against Connersville.
