The New Palestine boys soccer team dropped a tough 3-2 road match Tuesday at Mt. Vernon. NP tried to rally back from an early 2-0 deficit, as Paxton Holmes scored midway through the first half to draw NP within one. Cole Christopher added a second-half goal, but MV scored the winner after the break. The Dragons are now 3-3 overall and 1-1 in HHC play. They next play Sept. 9 at New Castle.
