Addison Lindell's 52nd-minute goal broke a deadlock Wednesday and sent the New Palestine girls soccer team to a 3-2 road victory over county and conference rival Greenfield-Central. The teams entered halftime tied at 2-2 when Lindell scored early in the second half. The Dragons' defense made the lead stand up. The Dragons built a 2-0 lead on goals by Hannah Sund and Lindell in the 21st and 24th minutes. G-C answered to tie the game in the closing minutes of the half, setting the stage for the Dragons to win it after the break. Gabbie Brown, Hailey Pardieck and Brooke Tanksley had the assists on the Dragons' tallies. The Dragons are now 8-3 after their fifth straight win. They are 5-1 in HHC play. They next play Thursday at home against Cathedral. The JV game was a 1-1 draw. Callee Rains scored the Dragons' goal.
