New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to Greenfield-Central in Wednesday's opening round of the Mt. Vernon sectional. The No. 2 doubles team of Jackson Clark/Davis Harrison won a set, but fell 6-7(5), 6-3, 6-2. Elsewhere, Carson Rush fell 6-1, 6-4; Tyler Walter 6-2, 6-2 and Brock Hehmann 6-1, 7-5 at singles. Luke Bartusek/Gavin Berry fell 6-4, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. The Dragons finish the season with a 10-9 record.
