New Palestine High School

Sophomores Mike Bauer and Hailey Pardieck represented New Palestine at Saturday's IHSAA cross country State Finals at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course in Terre Haute. Pardieck placed 40th in a 250-runner field. She posted a time of 18:42.5. The state champion, Libby Dowty of Indian Creek, ran 17:10.2. Bauer finished 118th out of a field of 250 runners, running the 5K course in 16:31.1. The state champion, Calvin Seitz of Springs Valley, clocked 15:01.3.
